What do dads like? Cookies? Tools? Mustaches? That sounds about right. This Father's Day, I put together some decorated sugar cookie sets as gifts for some of the dads. They were a huge hit among family and friends! There was a 5 piece tool set that included a hammer, screwdriver, wrench, saw and a Happy Father's Day plaque. I tried to keep them realistic looking, with silver for the metal parts, black and yellow for handles. Oh, and swirled light and medium brown for a wood-like effect for the saw's handle. I love how they turned out!
Here are the mustache and bowtie sets that I did in a 3 piece set. The bowtie is two toned in a deep cornflower blue with light grey polkadots. A silvery plaque with Happy Father's Day and the mustache in black.
Take a look at the packaging I used. I just got some kraft brown boxes from BRP Box Shop. They're a little pricey but I love the look and they fit the tool set just perfectly! For the 3 piece set I used a clear plastic box. You can see my new logo design too! I printed onto kraft labels. Do you like??
Last, but certainly not least...my favorite cookie from this Father's Day. Made just for MY dad. I've seen this saying on t-shirts and my dad is an avid collector of inappropriate t-shirts. Some too vulgar to even repeat.
