about the owners:
Welcome to Double Batch Bakery! Meet owners Rachel & Angel Hidalgo, the husband and wife team behind Double Batch Bakery. Angel and Rachel have both had a passion for food from a very young age and began their careers with internships at some of the best kitchens in New York City while still in high school. They both attended The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. There, they met and fell in love! Angel studied Culinary arts and Rachel studied Baking & Pastry arts. They have each spent the last 20 years working their way up from line cook and pastry cook to executive positions in their fields. Opening a business together is something they have talked and dreamed about for so long, and they are excited to bring it to reality.

A message from Rachel & Angel:
We would like to thank our families, friends, mentors and colleagues supporting us throughout our careers and helping us get to where we are today. A special thank you to C-CAP - Careers through Culinary Arts Program for introducing us and guiding us in our careers along the way.
